Damn, Daniel got bit in the head lol. Seriously tho. It's all trial and error, it will get frustrating, but it's about all you can do. Once you get the hang of it, it will be easy.

EDIT: In this Y2J model, the top hair part you want to remove, is also repeated in the side hair, so it cannot be easily removed.
