Hey man,

I will help you out:
1. To easily changing wrestlers name you could use saveable cheats codes: http://cbx.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sdcode5&action=display&thread=7506

2. To replace selection picture you can follow the tutorial here in the board:

it's a little bit different to extract the files, i did the following:

unpack MENU.PAC with RRUnpack
you get folders:
%\rrunpack\MENU.dpac\MENU\SPFA.pac\0000.bpe in there are the selection images (SPFB.pac and SPFC.pac are also selection pictures i believe, maybe for arenas etc.)
use quickbms with yuke.bms to get an file called: 0000.bpe.unpacked
rename it to 0000.bpe.pac
open it in X-packer (you get some errors but ignore them)
extract all and you get 00.pac-59.pac
simply rename .pac to .tm2
now you have the selection screens

i didn't try to import them, maybe you need to set an filesize somewhere, i don't know
