PS2 texture editing question - waleedgaber.619 - 09-22-2013
When making a texture with a transparent color and viewing it in noesis , the visible part has a rim of the transparent color (visible rim) on the part adjacent to the transparent color , how can i fix that ?

This 'rim' is visible also in-game.
Example: If the texture shows brown hair, and the transparency color is purple, then a purple outline appears.
Solution: Before saving the final tm2, change the purple color to brown.

the problem is the alpha channel is covering part of the background, what i do is first save the texture with no background and save it as png8 using photoshop "save it for web" option then i open it in optpix and change the alpha channel set at 0 to 128 and thats all

Left: tm2 with 2 green colors for transparency,
Right: final tm2, changed the green colors to purple (trunks) and skin color (legs).
