Hey guys, I'm trying to learn how to use Nike's editor and I've imported quite a number of mods in SVR 2010. I've discovered that my PLISTPS2.ARC space is now negative. Does it affect anything? I've checked the tutorial section and I can't seem to find a explanation on it except that the whole game might slow down.
I'm asking because my PCSX2 just decided not to work since yesterday (Damn plugins) and I ran out of DVD-R to burn the ISO to test it on my PS2.
Help is greatly appreciated!

The left hand upper corner of the editor indicates the PLISTPS2.ARC space left.
It's currently like this: PLISTPS2.ARC space left: -4 (and in bold red, no less!)
Was using Maicue's patch as a base by the way, I'm modding for my own entertainment, was kinda hoping I can have a huge roster of TNA, WWE, WCW and ECW guys.
Maybe I'm just too greedy here...

oh now i understand maicue patch have lot of thing so i think is better replace instead of add things and i suppose that negative space in arc means you reached the maxium arc size and the game will not load i cant assure anything because i've never used nike's editor

Ah thanks! But I think I found what I did wrong. I accidentatlly added a model to the test motion slot. I think that's why it screwed up the who arc.
I mean, Maicue have 296 arc space left! I only added like 8 mods. Kinda impossible ain't it? Hahaha.

There is a limit to how big the arc file can be.
I think this is because the arc file is actually an index that is read into a fixed spot in the RAM-memory of the PS2.
If the file gets larger than the size of the spot that is allocated in memory for it, the game will not function correctly.
So NEVER make that number negative. If you do your arc will not work and you won't be able to use your mod correctly and might have to start complemetely over from scratch if you don't know exactly how to fix this problem by hex editing.

Ahhhhh, so that's why most modders replace some models instead of adding in new ones in their SVR 2010 mods.
Thanks Nike! I shall now go read the tutorial of increasing arc space. In the mean time, I will just override those that I don't want.
