What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - WilliamCampbell - 08-08-2012 Sorry for taking your time with this question but I've searched and couldn't find an answer for my issue... It seems that I didn't pay enough attention and imported Don Muraco over Moves Man 02 from slot 192. You may imagine what's happening now (hint: I can't edit movesets in-game anymore because it freezes at loading screen). I tried "remove an attire" from the editor but this NEVER works for me. No attire is removed (same could be said for adding an attire). Any way I can remove Muraco from the slot so it'll work again? I've been mightly bored lately when it comes to editing movesets so I would like to, you know, just burn my ISO already and edit whatever is needed in-game. Thanks in advance! What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - nikethebike - 08-08-2012 Just hex edit the arc to have the original values for 192. Cross check an original file. An attire is not the same as a model. Remove attire means a character that has 2 attires only gets one slot to import attires to. Add means a character with two attires gets three slots to import to and so on. Also about moveset editing: http://s4.zetaboards.com/Old_Skool_Reunion?topic=9664074/ Good luck. What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - Tired - 08-08-2012 Or, import an entrance model over it. Most entrance models will work. What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - WilliamCampbell - 08-08-2012 Thank you guys for the replies! I'm going to see if I can fix it. Anyway, nike, thanks for clearing up the "add/remove attire" function. But it seems that it's not working either way here! As soon as I add or remove an attire is the editor supposed to show the changes? Because I see no slot added or removed.Edit: I tried Batista's entrance model and it didn't work. So it seems that the only way is hex editing? What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - nikethebike - 08-09-2012 If you have 1 attire you can import models to: 00 01 02... and so on. If you have 2 attires you can also import to: 10 11 12... and so on. If you have 3 attires... 20 21 22... I hope you understand. What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - WilliamCampbell - 08-09-2012 Yup, I thought that was it. But still it seems that no slots are being added, for some reason. Anyway, does anyone have an arc file for reference? Dumb me deleted the old one when I thought everything was ready. I just need the reference to the slot 192 so I can at least try to edit it. The values are the "3F", "2D" like syllabes, right? What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - Tired - 08-10-2012 They ARE being added. But you need to import a model into them. When you select a character at the selection screen, you select them. But if they have more than one attire, you are asked to choose which attire you want. By adding an attire in the editor, you add one more option to these. But they will also need models imported to work. What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - WilliamCampbell - 08-10-2012 Yes, I get all that. But that means I need to import a model via CMD to such slot then? Because via editor I get absolutely no changes, model imported or not. There's nothing different in the attires dropdown list. Same for removing. Anyway, I tried hex-editing and it made the game freeze. The changes actually worked (editor was showing Moves Man 02 with the old settings) but for some reason the game didn't. So I decided to start over with new files... Since I used "export wrestler" to have all the working slots wrote down and all it won't take me much time to just import the models once again. I thank you for the help nevertheless! You guys are great.
What to do with Moves Man 02/Slot 192? - nikethebike - 08-11-2012 The drop down will not show any changes. Occupied slots will, unless you import over an already occupied slot. |
