I started playing GM mode on this game the other day. It is pretty good, even though it can get quite repetitive pretty quickly.

However, there are things with this game I still can not get over that they ruined in the newer games. The weight detection, flow of the matches, detailed arenas (there are actually chairs in the arenas and detailed roof not just black). In SVR06 we also get distance blur on the crowd in PCSX2. However the game runs much slower than 2010 for example in PCSX2.

You can notice they had to start focusing on the newer consoles in the following years...

In the great things in svr06 you forgot the ability to break tables with any move, always loved this.
I wish i understood how to edit that game, i prefered GM mode to Universe.

For Me, The Universe Mode was The "Toned-Down" Version of The GM Mode. GM Mode is more Better than The Universe Mode!

In GM Mode, You can Promote Superstar/Divas Merchandise (One of My Favorite GM Mode Feature). In Universe Mode, What else You can do rather than Setting Up a Match and Play/Simulate it for nothing?

THQ Should bring back The GM Mode, And replace The Universe Mode!

God i hated GM Mode it was the most boring crap i have ever played EVER. I am so glad they got rid of it.

Completely agree with WF on this. I thought GM mode was the pits. Universe mode is far more in-depth and more entertaining.

However, I agree with Apati on Nike getting a editor for SvR2006. The gameplay was awesome and modding that platform would be huge!

Never understood the love for GM mode. It was far too repetitive. I do not own any of the current WWE games, but think 06 was the best game.

I am a gamecube player so my love is for DOR 1 & 2.

But I don't think that as svr 2010 you can add all the superstars that you want, isn't it? Imean you can't add all of the superstars from svr 2007 to svr 2011 I think, and if we can, they will be unavailable for the GM mode...
But I agree svr 2006 is the best of the svr series!
