How to test alpha ?

I have fixed (i guess) the alpha channels for some of baal's mods , how do i test if it is fixed using pcsx2 or anything else before trying on ps2 ? i unchecked the alpha correction in the video plugin but all that did is make the whole environment black (except for the wrestler) ?

If the alpha values are set to 128 instead of 0 they will work.

Thanks wildforce i've found it
For some reason after following maicue's tutorial some palettes are still not 128 and i had to set them manually , i wish there was a faster way but i couldn't understand 80las tutorial (which is "edited xx_face.png" and "DEFAULT (exported) xx_face.tm2" in my case ? as i've said i'm trying to fix baal's mods)

for images with no transparency(faces,legs,arms,etc) you can try it

1.- go to options>alpha channel settings
2.- select half range 256 level

those settings will set all new created alpha to 128 (you only have to make it 1 time no need to make it everytime you fix textures)

so to fix images with no transparency:

1.-right click on the mouse>select edit alpha channel>discard
2.-right click on the mouse>select edit alpha channel>create new alpha channel
3.-done your texture have an alpha set to 128

WOW man ! thanks hardx36 that saved alot of time ! I think your post belongs in the tutorials section as a tutorial .
