Arjun is right, the problem is alpha channel.
Look I have attached a fixed texture and a screenshot comparing the two.
You will see the difference is the alpha value, the fixed one has grey alpha value (alpha = 128 in palette list). White alpha value (alpha = 255) will result in the model looking like that ingame.
To obtain this, there are two methods explained in the tutorial section written by me and 80las. Just follow the one you find easier.
