Hey man,

I will help you out:
1. To easily changing wrestlers name you could use saveable cheats codes: http://cbx.proboards.com/index.cgi?board...hread=7506

2. To replace selection picture you can follow the tutorial here in the board:

it's a little bit different to extract the files, i did the following:

unpack MENU.PAC with RRUnpack
you get folders:
%\rrunpack\MENU.dpac\MENU\SPFA.pac\0000.bpe in there are the selection images (SPFB.pac and SPFC.pac are also selection pictures i believe, maybe for arenas etc.)
use quickbms with yuke.bms to get an file called: 0000.bpe.unpacked
rename it to 0000.bpe.pac
open it in X-packer (you get some errors but ignore them)
extract all and you get 00.pac-59.pac
simply rename .pac to .tm2
now you have the selection screens

i didn't try to import them, maybe you need to set an filesize somewhere, i don't know

Excellent, any chance of WCW Sting? Also, for CM Punk, maybe Steven Richards would work, or even better, you could import SYM characters and you would have slightly more models to work with.

Prf Chaos used several SYM characters in HCTP, read this:

He said "this process isn't fully functional but it's still possible to play as added SYM characters, even in singles matches, under certain conditions. Their use is very limited and as such, only one added character can be used in a match"

Also you can only use them in Player 2 slot.

We are also in the same state. It's possible to add the chars, but they don't show up properly everytime. That's what our goal is: To make them fully compatible.

you guys should take a look to both games pacs, i mean compare them for example the other day i was trying to import an svr05 model into svr11 and i found that there is a 05.pac file that is incompatible with 2011 so i deleted that pac and the model showed up in the game the only problem is it appears with the textures all messed up but if you import the normal svr05 pac the game crashes, so maybe the problem with sym/hctp could be the same

well, we did compare the pacs as you can read on the first pages.

here is a comparison of the first pacs in both games (rock)



02 = 02 (Model)
06 = 06 (Entrance Gear)
07 = 07 (Entrance Gear)
08 (Blood texture, new feature in HCTP)
09 = 09 (Textures)
0A = 64
0B = 65

I don't have a clue for what the last two files are. But they have the same file size and structure in both games.
