last two files are the sign boards...

The only problem that's been bugging me I guess, are the archives of both models,... But like Prinsto said,.. The result is still the same... Texture glitches are still present...

Somehow someone actually imported SYM models successfully to HCTP...

He posted some links on mediafire before but deleted it eventually...

have you fixed the alpha channel? i read somewhere that the alpha channel in sym is set to 255 but in hctp the alpha channel should be set to 128

I've already set the alpha channel based on this tutorial...

But somehow, the model only works at 100% on the second slot....

have you tried to use a model from a different slot? i mean in svr series there is one slot for matches and one for entrances i dont know if sym is different but at least hctp have several slots for each wrestler

So far, I have tried only changing the legends (e.g. Iron Shiek, Hillbilly Jim, etc.) which only composes of one slot....

I wrote him an email. Maybe he will response. I asked for some type of tutorial and example pac files.

Prinsto! I found the solution!



This keeps happening because SYM has more texture parts as you pointed out in your list! I think you may need to rebuild textures (as in, manually edit a few image files)

looks like this topic is becoming the continuation of the "a theory?" topic.

and about the problem. I have a suggestion but you guys probably already tried it.(injecting the 02 and 09 of a SYM pac to a HCTP pac or maybe also the 64 & 65. and leave the 08 untouched.)

It couldn't be,... :unsure: As it wouldn't compliment with the .yobj file... If the textures are, let's say, lacking....

Possibility is the game either have more graphic glitches or it may crash...

But,.. I think it's worth a try.... :yes:
