Well after weeks of fighting tooth and nail to get my custom belts imported into the Smackdown vs Raw 2010 game with the game continuously crashing, I changed my approach a little bit and finally last night I was able to burn my rebuilt Iso to disk. Now for those who are reading this post who are having trouble importing belts to the game, I do not mean for this to be a tutorial because what may work for me on my computer may not work for yours. I am just simply going to lay out what I did that worked for me.
To begin, if you have a wrestler who wears the belt to the ring around his waist, the rolled belt is not going to be perfect. The snaps are going to be up by the side plates a little bit but from what I have found online, many guys have had the same issue in importing their own belts as well so there are going to be some imperfections that you are just going to have to deal with when doing the importing. Second, when the referee shows the folded belt to both wrestlers before hoisting it up to show to the crowd, his fingers are going to go through the main plate a little bit. Again, this is something you are just going to have to learn to live with when belt editing. It is the nature of the beast. I suppose if you have an extensive knowledge in hex editing ,you could attempt to change the offsets but unfortunately for me, I have not gained such knowledge yet but in due time. Since my method worked on SvR 2010 I am assuming this will work on SvR 2011 as well but again, what works for me may not work for you. So this is exactly what I did to make this happen:
1. Use Nike The Bike's svr editor and put all your necessary files in the proper folders (arc file, evtobj, pac files, etc.)
2. Use the belt id's from SvR 2011. Nike has the belt id's posted on his importing belts tutorial in the tutorial index.
3. When you begin importing, import your stretched belt to the proper belt id's first, then import the folded belt, then the rolled belt. Make sure the cmd.exe file is in the proper svr editor folder. For example, I recently designed a North American Title belt that I created using Corel Draw X7. I imported this belt to the game using the US Title id's. The belt id's for the US Title are as follows:
Stretched: 2003, 3003, 4003
Folded: 2013, 3013, 4013
Rolled: 2023, 5003
I opened a cmd prompt and began importing the stretched belt to the proper id's by typing the following:
import_any NATitleStretched.PAC 2003 _EVTOBJ PS2
Notice I did not type "SOBJ/" first before the belt id. When I previously tried importing my belts by typing this in front of the belt id, the game would repeatedly crash after doing all the importing and rebuilding the iso. I can't say for sure if this was why the game crashed but when I only typed the belt id instead of for example "SOBJ/2003", the belt imported just fine. Import your stretched.pac to the proper id's first, then do the folded belt, then do the rolled belt.
4. When you go to rebuild the iso, make sure to copy and paste the updated arc and _evtobj file to the proper folders in the iso.
5. I found saving the rebuilt iso seemed to load better saving to the Documents folder of Windows instead of saving to the Desktop. Saving to the desktop seemed to be another reason why the game would crash when I went to test it on an emulator. Can't say for sure but it was just an observation I made.
6. When you go to test the iso on a PCSX2 emulator, make sure you do not have a previous SvR 2010 game save or again, the game will crash. Same goes for when you go to burn the iso to disk. You can delete previous game saves from PCSX2 by downloading mymc.gui.exe.
That is it. I hope this will come as a help to anyone who is having just as many problems importing belts as I did. I also created my own World Heavyweight Title as well and this same method worked when importing to the World Heavyweight Title id's.
