I followed the tutorial and just like nikethebike said in the turorial the textures showed up,in my case,the intercontinental title belt textures,I got the intercontinental textures and textured over them with my own creations but in the edit belt textures tutorial it says you should use import.bat in nikethebikes tool folder to import the belts into plistps2.arc....but when I try to import _EVTOBJ.PAC.1.PAC with import.bat the command prompt comes up and says CH.PAC and some other text and then closes it doesn't try to load the belt textures into plistps2.arc....is there a way to put the custom belt texutres in the game correctly at this point?

oh I made a mistake then nikethebike and I don't know how to hex edit the belts back in myself....is there a tutorial about how to put belts into the game with a hex editor yet?

I don't think so. Haven't even done it myself yet since I asked for help to find all places that needs to be replaced (completing the list I started) but noone has helped me yet.
Feel free to go through textures and post what they are and complete the list in that topic and we can get started on getting a way to easily replace belts.

that sounds good nike and I can try to find out what some of the empty lines on the list in you're editing belts tutorial are when I have some time and I see you said you have not entered belt textures back into the game on you're own yet darn I wish I knew how to put them back in well i'll look for a couple of those empty lines right now :-)

I am replaying once again some saturday it's been....I didn't open the textures that have not been looked at in the editing belt textures tutorial list yet ... i'm hoping that someone on here that know's can tell me if the steps I'm going to post are correct or not the steps will be from the process I went through trying to get custom belt textures into the game....the first belt is the intercontinental belt which is number 1 on the list in the editing belt textures tutorial which is also file _EVTOBJ.PAC.1.PAC and that's the file I extracted textures from to replace with my own custom made belt textures....I don't think number 1 on the list is valid meaning I either one did everything right in the steps i'm about to post post and it didn't show up because it's not the correct intercontinental textures to replace or two I messed up some where in the hexadecimal editing...warning there 9 steps I tried to make it good enough to read for the mods and anyone who might be able to help.
1. I opened x-packer and opened 0A.pac as a texture archive after opening _EVTOBJ.PAC.1.PAC as a wrester archive and uncompressing 0A.pac from it.
2. I imported my custom belt textures to 09.pac then injected 0A.pac into the _EVTOBJ.PAC.1.PAC main archive.
3. open the file "_EVTOBJ.PAC.1.PAC" in a hex editor and search for offset (h) 00002000
4. inside the _EVTOBJ.PAC.1.PAC tab highlight from the beginning of offset row 00000000 to the end of offset row 000023F0 and leave it highlighted.
5. open _EVTOBJ.PAC as a tab in hex and highlight from offset row 00003FF0 down to the "." symbol after this data "×߇_AŒ¬E‚FA‰ßDê" on offset row 000063F0 and stop highlighting at the "." symbol.
6. now click on tab "_EVTOBJ.PAC.1.PAC" then copy and paste the data you left highlighted from offset row 00000000 to offset row 00023F0 into tab "_EVTOBJ.PAC.1.PAC" over the data
highlighted from offset row 0003FF0 to offset row 000063F0 in tab "_EVTOBJ.PAC"
7. inside the "_EVTOBJ.PAC" tab highlight from offset row 00000800 down to offset row 00001420 and stop higlighting at the "!" symbol on row 00001420
8.copy and paste the highlighted data from offset row 00000800 down to offset row 00001420 in tab "_EVTOBJ.PAC" into the "PLISTPS2.ARC" tab over the data starting at the "S"
symbol on offset row 00000B90 down to the "." symbol before "yy.." on offset row 00017C0 and stop highlighting at the "." symbol before "yy.."
9. click on file and look for "save all" and then click on it....you want to click on save all so all the copying and pasting work done is saved into the files you opened in hexadecimal.
sorry for all the typing and I didn't know I had this in me was this along the lines of the correct way to add belts into the PLISTPS2.ARC file and then into the game even though when I loaded the game and rey mysterio came out with the intercontinental belt my textures didn't show up? if this means that in nikethebikes editing title belts tutorial the first belt on the list 1.intercontinental belt is invalid then the valid one must be number 10.intercont. title or number 19. intercont. title on the list in editing titles thread I need helpers who will know if i'm right or not to follow the 9 steps and post back here

The tutorial is only for extracting textures and finding out what each file is. It is not really complete for editing yet.

oh ok I thought maybe if I hex edited right something might happen when updating the PLISTPS2.ARC file with the custom belt textures.....oh yeah I found some of the stuff that wasn't on the list in the editing belts tutorial up to number 80 there's so many of those textures I would have 289 left to edit if I did them all but I will update the list in that thread soon
