SvR 2008: Disable all selection pictures or replacing them

Hi everybody,

I saw some posts with similar requests, but they are from some time ago. I'm planning a video series of playing GM Mode in SvR2008 on my german Youtube Channel, but packed with mods, so with a completely new roster (credit will be given, of course). Importing wrestlers is no problem thanks to HARDX36' tool. But I think importing over 40 selection pictures in 3 different versions isn't necessary. That's why I either want to replace all selection pictures with the standard one (the silhouette one) or with a transparent picture.

Is there a way to easily achieve? I think there isn't a program to automatically change the SvR2008 PLISTPS2.arc file either (it's different from SvR2011) except the tool from HARDX36 for models.

I think a cheat code could also be possible for this.

Help would be really appreciated.

in svr08 the pics are conteined in 3 pacs sffa, sffb, sffc, you can just mod the pics in sffa and then import that pac to the 3 sections and since the menu.pac in svr08 have the standard offset and size method for svr09/10/11
you can use my svr11 universal importer to import the pac

EDIT: I have to report that SSFB.pac causes troubles. While I can replace every picture in SSFA and SSFC with C8.pac (dummy) and start the 24/7 GM Mode I am not able to edit SSFB in any way without the game freezing. I even tried to replace just one single picture (rock with edge) but the game keeps freezing in PCSX2 without any errors in the console. I had the same problem with HCTP. So once again: Replacing selection pictures in SvR2008 works fine as long as you don't want to play 24/7 mode with it =(

Are you sure we cant? I have the same problem , I want to edit or remove selection pics on svr 08 psp but I am locked, I don't know how to do.....

well i didnt saw this before but maybe there is a checksum for ssfb pics and thats why the game freezes
