So after talking to BrienJ on FB, trying to solve the issue I was having, I finally got the hang of it so now I can add custom logos to the game. So as I add on to the game I'll be showcasing them here.



I'm still trying to figure out how to mod arena textures and nameplates with X-Packer, because according to brienj, he has no intention of re-releasing his PAC Archiver anytime soon. Also this is not a texture mod for Dolphin, these are straight edits to the Wii ISO, played via Configurable USB Loader.

Feedback is well appreciated.

Trying to move onto texturing the arenas and menu screens, but X-Packer keeps greeting me with this little message every time I open a texture archive.



anyone else have this problem?

That happens when you open with the wrong option.

I see, well, once i figured it out, I made some edit to the Smackdown '99 Arena, however every time I load it up, it crashes the game, not to mention that it for some reason renders all arenas unusable. not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not.

I have to ask, from what I've read, are only the current gen arenas able to be modded without affecting the game? been trying to get this mod for SD '99 I've been working on to work but it keeps freezing up my game.

OK, after looking it over, the issue stems from the file size. the texture archive is uncompressed and therefore, double the size that it used to be. It would require being compressed to match the original filesize. Also,injecting it as a pac will not work. It must be a bpe. That being said, is there a way to convert an uncompressed pac to a compressed bpe?
