hacking nameplates

I have been following this tutorial by honkeytonkman Here

I have extracted the files from the evtGD.pac file and found the ETEX folder, inside of which there are a large number of pac files, however when i etxract them with xpacker or expert tools, all I get are a number of BPE files which I then cannot open. I know it is the 00.BPE file I need to edit, the question is how do I open it?

uncompress 00.bpe with xpacker to have pac files from it and there you find the nameplate textures

doesnt seem to work. It gives me the 00.pac and 00.bpe files but they cannot be opened with xpacker to extract the textures.

uncompressing 00.bpe you have 00.pac..now upen 00.pac with xpacker as texture archive ,if don't work try to open as ps2/psp pac file

I cant open it as a texture archive, only as a pac, whcih gives an error message and a large number of .tim files that cannot be decompressed

tim ??...never found tim extensions on psp . but you are hacking on psp or ps2 ? ..because my method for nameplates i had tested only for psp and only for svr 2009 edition .i'm not sure could work on other versions

try to search in tutorial..maybe someone has done a system for ps2
